  Crimson in color. 14.8% ABV. Gorgeous nose of black fruits, leather, cigar box and eucalyptus. Rich and concentrated with perfect balance. Black cherry, black currants, cassis and tobacco on the palate. Exceptional length on the finish with silky tannins. Really outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon that could not be showing better at twenty years of age. Well cellared bottles will drink nicely for another 3-5 years.

  High neck fill. Medium garnet color in glass with bricking obvious. Lovely bouquet but oxidation evident. Medium full body on palate but fruit is seriously fading. Light tannins and acidity - a fading flower. Inside of bottle coated with a fine sediment and a little sludge at the bottom. Drink now.

  Dark purple/red with flowers and dark fruit nose sweet fruit and a bit tannin taste with a quick sweet aftertaste

  Decanted the wine for an hour. Took a little time for the initial funk to blow off. The wine began to open up within the hour and revealed nice fruit and leather undertones. Was pleasantly surprised of how the wine has hung in and aged. I would say drink within the next year if you have one laying around.
