During the Paulée de Marsannay, no detailed notes. Wow, really complex aged notes of quince, ripe lemon married with a touch of toast and enough freshness to support the frame.

Lovely nose with notes of tangerine, citrus, minerals, and herbs. There was a slight bit of volatility at first and the wine gained a lot of weight and richness with air. The palate had great acidity with lemon, green apples, and more citrus flavors. Long finish. Awesome!

Tasted on my own. Superb hue, golden, autumn leaves. Nose of oxydised apples, rhubarbe and a shy quince. Mouth complexe, like an old chardonnay, but with less flesh than earlier days ; still fruity (baked ones) but a little bitterness starts to overtake the usual demonstrative acidity that you expect from this producer. Has passed his peak but still should have interest on a creamy mushroom sauce.

On it’s top. Still in excellent shape, no furrher improvement excepected. Very well balanced, nice concentration. Shouldn’t be kept longer to enjoy it’s full potential.
