Blind tasting for Cpt Cutlass in Spiegelau glass 15°C. Pnp. No decantation. Hue not showing sign of age. Deep flavours of mature redberries and blackcurrant with sap and light sap, a hint of glue at the beginning. Core is structured well packing fruits without any edges. Long palate. balanced and elegant. At his apogee like a young father.

Retasted after for days under argon gaz. 14°C Sydonios glass. Superb nose of matures black prunes, sweat small strawberries marmelade, underforest, sap ahint of leather. Palate is even more on the fruit, wide very expressive of those berries of the forest, sweat (>10g/l i guess) sap like juniper , very nice freshness, balance bitter, good length showing to the end palate an almost perfect balance. Ending a little dry on light red pepper impression : the corsican juniper. Excellent. So this second experience means decantation three hours is helpfull.

Pnp 14°C in Sydonios glass. Fogy ruby hue. Nose expressive of a little hint of farm , mottly prunes, sap, jupiner, iodin, ion and dry granit sand. Like a solar grenache in 2003. Palate is elegant fresh very fruity of little mature strawberries, hint of liccorice, very nice after taste long and elegant. Very nice ! That is excellent according to CT rating scale.
