  • My first Vin Juane after years of reading about it with interest. I loved this wine which had a very sherry like nose of nuts and mushroom/earth. The flavors were bright and mellowed considerably by the second day when the body became more rich and the flavors more nutty-especially filberts. Long and very interesting finish. Good with cheese and surprisingly good with salami!

  • Highly oxidative, sherryesque nose with nutty caramel notes. Subtle and nuanced palate with a distinct almond-extract quality and lots of character. Persistent with a great tangy quality to the finish. Interesting and reasonably well-paired with a shellfish course.
