Can a white wine be bretty? This smelled strongly of manure (cow, rather than horse). On the palate, extremely disjointed with manure and heat being the prominent experiences. Have to think this was a flawed bottle given other tasters' responses. A disappointment since this was our first experience of Corison wines and of a US Gewurtz.

Tasted at the winery. Lychee, floral and stone fruit nose. Bright on the palate with floral, orange, mineral and eucalyptus. Nice presence and finish.

Bright and juicy as before, with a noticeable (and awesome) smokiness this time. Will get more.

Strong herbal aromatics, and a lot of electricity. Lean with a rich, butterscotchy end note. A delicious blurring of the new/old world line.
