Another excellent showing. Light golden in color. Gorgeous nose of lychees and slight cream note. On the palate, this is very good. Nice balance. Good acidity. Very food friendly. Lychees and minerals. Nice finish. Appeared to be a wine that everyone enjoyed. Saw two people try to pour some after the bottle was emptied.

Some nice wines over the last two nights; 5/13/2015-5/14/2015: I seemed to like this more than the group, but I love Gewurz. Great nose of lychees. Very forward. I am again surprised on the ripeness in 2011 this wine achieved. Clearly not old world with more fruit than acidity. No bitterness that sometimes plagues this grape either. Refreshing, fruity. A great starter for the evening.

A stop to taste at Corison (Corison Winery): I really enjoyed this one. Always looking for reasonably priced whites that don't need to be drunk immediately Very pretty nose of Lychees. Dry on the palate. Slight bitterness on finish which I find a lot in dry Gewurz. I don't love that, but its not too distracting. Bought a couple.

I really enjoyed this wine at the Vineyard. However, in the bottle, I thought it was a bit thin and had a sourness to it which I did not get from my initial tasting.
