  • Colour is a vibrant ruby red, newrly magenta. Jayer wines seem to have this distinctive colour. Perfumed bouquet that has some Nuits rusticity but with loads of Vosne spice. Pure berry fruit, red cherry, raspberry, strawberry. There is a menthol, minty quality here that makes this wine incredibly refreshing. Palate is vibrant and even explosive. Wet leaves, leather, and a little bit of smoke. Still quite juicy. While it doesn't have the signature "baking soda" tingle of many Jayer wines, it maintains the same ethereal quality and is excellent. Slightly sanguine. Awesome.
