Deep ruby colour. Pronounced and developing nose with dark plum, blackberry, blueberry, fresh green herbs, vanilla, cocoa and black pepper. Pronounced taste of dark plum, blackberry, blueberry, fresh green herbs, vanilla, cocoa and black pepper. Long and sweet finish. High acidity. Full body. A very good Single Quinta Vintage with great potential. Part of my WSET3 exam prep. Drink now or over the next 30 years. Goes well with cheeses, chocolate or chocolate based desserts.

Very young, but wow what a delicious Port. The nose is explosive with mulberry, bing cherry, anise, spice, and hints of leather. The palate is fresh and bright with loads of fruit, but also floral hints and just a lifted graceful feel. Great value for me as this seems to rival a lot of true vintage port I've had in the past.

Early impression: its very nice port. Smells fantastic. Super fruit, with mild and smooth tannins. Slightly more "fruity" than "complex" as a port. Good balance. Just a touch of heat. Nice QPR. Scores in 92-93 range and add 1-2 points if scoring on QPR.

Not much bouquet surprisingly. Syrupy, sweet and very fruity. Very young. Will improve with age. Should be excellent in around 15 years.
