  Cork immediately dropped into the bottle. Luckily was able to decant and got very clear wine with a small amount left in the bottle. Still nicely red with warm tone. Light in color. Large bouquet and a bit of cork both in the taste and on the nose but not enough to affect drinking pleasure. Sweet, fruit cake and complexity of red fruit and mocha. Past its prime but still excellent. Not a block buster vintage but drinking nicely at age 39.
