Decanted thru Menu inversion decanter and drank over two days. Still big and fruit-forward. Dry, with earthy. Great with huge cheese and spicy casserole. No hurry to drink.

I was surprised by this bottle. At $27.50 I thought it was a great value. It has a great blend of fruits that go together well... syrah and petite sirah. I am a petite sirah fan and the syrah really kicks it up. In fact I am going to order a case of the 2010 right now.

Paso Robles Rhone Rangers (Broken Earth Winery): maroon with purple hues in the color. dark fruit, black pepper, earth, plum, mocha, on the nose. oak, cherry, tobacco, cedar, dark chocolate, on the palate. high acid, big tannins on this long finish.

Really surprised by this blend. Came together very nicely. Not normally a Sarah lover but this was excellent!

I thought this was a solid wine. Good fruit but not jammy... balanced tannins. A decent wine for the price.
