First time trying this found on clearance at liquor store for $26 so at that good QPR. Very dark purple with no browning and fully resolved tannins but fruit was just a bit fading....felt like this was on the downside and should probably drink sooner than later. YMMV

Paso Robles Rhone Rangers (Broken Earth Winery): dark red, in color. pepper, dark fruit, earth, on the nose. caramel, white pepper, blueberry, blackberry, spice, soil, on the palate. high acid, medium tannins, on the finish.

Hitting its' peak now. Great syrah with a petite syrah backbone. Tannins are perfectly mouthcoating. Wish I had more.
