My particular bottle -- bought at the winery not long after release, then half-forgotten in professional storage for around a dozen years -- was still showing strongly. The nose was perhaps the least impressive component, but still intriguing -- strawberries, a floral note (not roses or violets, but something less usual -- irises?. The palate was more impressive -- bright red fruits on the attack that due a head feint in the direction of sweetness, and a bit of creaminess, but then it picks up lots of savory elements on the impressive midpalate and finish, with flavors of diverse herbs and soil. Tannins are pretty well resolved, but acidity keeps the wine in balance. Allthough clearly identifiable as pinot, i wouldn't exactly call it Burgundian (oddly, it sort of reminded me of a modern-styled Barbaresco). I would call it delicious.

Great sweet purple fruit and interesting texture. Tannins were kind of chunky but not overwhelming. Once again, Cristom did a great job with this difficult vintage.

First time we had any Cristom Pinot Noir. It was very good. Nice red fruit. Had it with fish, pasta dish with which it went very well. Dinner was with 5 adults so we also had an Arcadian alongside. The Arcadian showed dark fruit. Interestingly the Arcadian was gone first and this a "likes red wine" group not necessarily "loves Pinot" group. I would definitely buy it again. Tasted a single vineyard this week and it was very good, a more substantial Pinot Noir than this one, more elegance as well.

A little past its prime. Nice cherry and and vanilla notes. The alcohol was a little assertive, which mellowed with some time out of the bottle.

Minneapolis Wine Club Does Domestic Pinots for the Masters (Becky's House): Garnet red color. Nose shows raspberries, cherry, forest floor, vanilla, . The plate has nice acid, vanilla, raspberry, black cherry, with good body and depth of flavors. Nice finish. Very good wine, 91+pts.
