  7/4/2014 - SAND Does not like this wine:

  Nose: Blackcurrant and wood, with a hint of shoe polish.
  Taste & palate: Quite fruity, in a matured way, rounded/sweet wood tannins, medium to light body.
  Fully drinkable but thoroughly, thoroughly unexciting. More or less as expected from a standard chilean CS - which is not to say that with this grape (and wood) material they could not have made a very much better and more interesting wine. But I guess that still sums up the sad state of standard / "middle of the road" Chilean CS.

  Tar and smoke. Really bad! To much tannins and acid.

  Nice, every-day drinking wine. Pairs well with a variety of meals, especially red sauced based, such as pasta and marinara. Good value.
