Big Bottle Festival (Cellars Hohenort): A lovely ripe Semillon with white fruits, hazelnut, apple, lemon and buttered toast. An elegant wine with a good injection of acid to make it flow, is relatively full-bodied, quite rich and with a heft of oak accentuating the nutty, toasty, butter elements. Finishes long however. Smart wine that seems to work, given its acidity profile.
