Popped and poured. Dark purple color. Dark red fruit, toasty oak and chocolate notes on the nose. Similar flavors on the palate with black cherries and dark chocolate coming through along with a bit of cedar cigar box. Medium acid and tannins, smooth drinking merlot. Not terribly complex but very enjoyable with or without food.

Light bodied, red fruits, mlots of acid. Lacking the plushness I look for in Napa merlot.

Acidity dominant and could not consume this without highly seasoned food. Purchased at auction so may have been a poorly stored bottle previously.
