  Pretty wine, fairly lean and youthful. Just kind of boring at this stage, maybe in an awkward phase, the structure and weight is there for something cool to emerge down the road several years, but at the moment it's not particularly exciting.

  Lovely dark cherry fruit in a lean, smooth package. The wine just lacks excitement especially compared to the '10 Drouhin CV drunk alongside. Could need more time?

  Big fruit upfront, velvety mid palate and fine tannins, bright acidity and an underlying layer of minerality.
  
  I'm not a burgundy expert and usually drink Napa cab but this was nice
