Grapey potpourri, lavender and peppery plum preserves. There is an dried floral/potpourri essence that pervades this from the start through the finish. Fresh, dry, concentrated and crunchy cherry flavors with tart acidity and a grippy green-peppery finish. ✭

Decanted half the bottle and began to drink immediately. Aromatic - lilac, violet, bright red and black fruits, hay, rich moist clay soil, chocolate, nice freshness as well as intensity. Bright fruit, flowers, hay, and earth on the palate. Excellent acidity. Medium+ tannins, yet fairly light bodied, even quaffable. Some slight bitterness in the floral, grassy, herbal finish adds to the interest and drinkability. Interesting Mondeuse, and thoroughly enjoyable.
Day 2 - richer and fuller bodied, big cherries and berries, and tannins are better integrated. Still bright, and impressively aromatic.

Très facile à boire, délicat et digeste. Net dans ses arômes. Longueur moyenne, demi-corps.
