  100 percent Tinta de Toro wine, made from the young vines of the ‘Quinta Quietud’ estate (founded in 1999), produced according to the principles of organic farming. 40 % of the wine was kept in stainless steel tanks, the remaining 60 % was aged for 6 months in American and French Allier barriques (1/2 new, 1/2 second use). Intense purple-red (almost opaque) colored wine and a fragrant nose of blackberry, kirsch liqueur, exotic spices and a fine vanilla touch. The sumptuous palate reveals a well-balanced and very elegant wine, loaded with concentrated ripe red fruit, supple tannins and sweet oak tones. Serious aftertaste. The wine is drinking beautifully now (after a two hours decant) ; drink it now and over the next few years. Great QPR.
  
  100 procent Tinta de Toro-wijn, gemaakt van de jonge aanplant van het domein 'Quinta Quietud' (opgericht in 1999, biologische wijnbouw). 40 % van de wijn rijpte op roestvrij staal, de resterende 60 % verbleef 6 maanden in Amerikaanse en Franse Allier-barriques (1/2 nieuw, 1/2 tweede gebruik). Intens paarsrood van kleur (bijna ondoorzichtig) en met een aromatische neus van bramen, kirsch likeur, exotische kruiden en een fijne vanille-touch. Een weelderige, evenwichtige en zeer elegante wijn, met pakken geconcentreerd rijp rood fruit, soepele tannines en wat zachte eiktoetsen. Degelijke afdronk. De wijn is nu al prachtig op dronk (mits hem twee uur op voorhand te decanteren); te drinken: nu en in de komende jaren. Zeer goede prijskwaliteitverhouding.
