brink red color. tastes like the ripe, slightly raisins wine grapes from my grandmother’s backyard trellis. sweet, but not overly. very unique. really delicious. nice, long finish.

Cellared since release. Perfect cork and fill. Pop and pour. I opened this with some concern about it going over the hill, but that concern was misplaced. It's essentially unchanged from the last bottle 2 years ago.
Dark red/brown, brick/brown at rim. Fragrant nose of violets, spices. Medium body, viscous on palate, sweet fruit, fair balancing acidity but not at all cloying, not as intense as it was at peak but it hasn't dropped off in the last few years and should hold on for another 2-5 years, perhaps more. Excellent.

rom half-bottle - lychee, floral, a little dried longan. Very sweet on the palate.

Very low on acid. I mixed it with seltzer and champagne, made a good aperitif (kir a la togni).
