  • Deep purple. Brambly aromas retain freshness, but not evolved bouquet. Dense, over-extracted fruit. Some esters peaking through. No charm,no interest, not food worthy, except maybe for blue cheese.

  • Cork came out in 3 pieces. The nose was a little sharp, like moldy cheese. The wine poured into the glass with almost an apparent froth. Tasted very sharp as well. This wine was given to me as a "makeup" for the one that was already done. This one is DONE.

  • Stick a fork in it. This one is done. This one didn't even come close to the 8/31/12 bottle - this one was like the panther cologne - pure gasoline!

  • Bah. And I think it might be a touch past its prime. This wine was all tobacco and plum. There wasn't much else to say. Completely different experience from T Warner. This wine was very smooth, no doubt. It was well balanced, and definitely a spice monster. It was nice and spicy with the chicken olive greek pasta it was enjoyed with. I don't have much to say other than I hope the other bottle I have doesn't present like this. This is like eating a tart plum. Wasn't expected based on other views, a bit alcoholic, some dust in the bottom of the glass.

  • - Medium forming legs. It's balanced with a medium/full body. Satin-Like texture with a long finish - Dark purple purple core fading slightly to a purple rim. Tobacco, cassis, black cherry with herbal notes on the nose. Big fruit with well balanced tannins. Blackberry, cherry, oak, full juicy mouthfeel with a long finish. Sorry to see my last bottle go.
