Nice, clean nose with cherries, forest notes, wild strawberries, and spices. The palate is surprisingly tannic with more red fruit and berries and some orange peel. Good finish. A lovely nose, but the palate was lacking in comparison. The wine is very clean, but I miss some of those wilder notes that make Poulsard so interesting with other producers such as Overnoy.

As opposed to bottle of 6 months ago, which was dead, this one was a fragile beauty. Very pale red color that was just a touch cloudy. Haunting, subtle in the mouth, all acid, mineral, and just a touch of the season's first strawberries. With about an hour of air it put on a bit of weight, but this wine is all about subtlety. Definitely one to drink now before it fades completely.

Color: Pale Ruby with a brick rim Smell: Machstick, tart red fruits, and floral notes Taste: a melange of red fruits, clove, and leather Overall: Light body, med- acidity, med- tannin, and kind of simple but definately enjoyable...maybe this would blossom with time but for now it's not anything I can't live without. Excellent wine that's enjoyable...and a great example of what to look for in Poulsard.

Very light in color, somewhere between a burgundy and a rose. Subtle fruit with secondary flavors of mushroom and earth against a solid acidic structure and faint tannins. Very interesting to drink and changes frequently, lends itself to a variety of foods. I prefer if on the cooler side and decanted for an hour or two. The only reference point I have is a light burgundy but this is it's own thing and very enjoyable.
