Finale discretamente lungo.

  • Bright cardinal color. Layered, expansive nose of tart raspberries, baking spice, licorice and pine needles. The palate is well-balanced and expressive despite the youth of this wine, with a reprise of the nose's tart red fruit. There is structure here but the acidity on this is more relaxed than on other 2010's I have had recently, making this approachable now and suitable for a few more years of cellaring. This is my first encounter with Meursault Rouge, and based on this example I'd be willing to go back.
