We picked this bottle up at the winery a couple of years ago. It is showing very well. Dark, plummy fruits, light earthy accents. Solid acidity, and nice supporting, but light tannin. I suspect this will drink well for a few years, at least. Almost comes across as a cross between a Chianti and a Barbera. Easily the best Dolcetto I have had and a repurchase if I find the opportunity.

Dark, rich, full bodied - not your typical Dolcetto. Plum, dark fruits, soft grain tannins are the first, and lasting impressions. An autumnal cast, though the wine is still young, and probably would have had many years of life ahead - but gave much pleasure in the drinking.

Clear, deep black-ruby color. Sweet secondary aromas or coffee cake & gingerbread, black licorice, black cherry and stony earth. Juicy and rich on the palate, with bold plum and black cherry notes, along with rocky minerals, rosemary & flowers, and baking spice. Full-bodied with medium acid, and warm & soft chewy tannins. Bright fruit and minerality on the finish- medium length. Very solid.

Deep ruby. Ripe cherries on the nose. Sappy, serious wine that is definitely not for quaffing. Moderate tannin and earthy complexity in addition to the fruit. This is cut from very different cloth than run of the mill Dolcetto.

Dusty and fruit forward. Maraschino cherries, good acidity and quite full bodied. Ready now but might be more elegant with a bit of cellaring.
