  Licorice, dried herbs, flowers, tar, dryish strawberries. Brooding tight palate with firm tannins, dusty black fruit and long finish. Fun classic barolo but not sure if tannins ever fully soften. Would likely need another 5 years to even potentially reach peak but not sure it has the bones to get there.

  Similar notes. Earth, dirt, tar, roses and muted fruit. Still missing the wow factor to justify the price IMHO

  Dark red. Graphite, black tea and cedar on the nose. Blackberries, grilled herbs, mushroom and smoke on the palate. Moderately oaked, still good supporting tannins and cedar and tobacco finish

  Tar and Roses. Still a little tight, needs to be decanted. Dusty cherry central. Delicious, but missing a bit of “wow” factor. Now-2030+?

  Dark red, fragrant with briar / stems black tea, still tannic, tart cherry, long and lingering berry finish
