  • Tasted at Handford's in a tasting tutored by Jean Trimbach. This is dry Muscat (only 3% of vines in Alsace are Muscat), which can be had as an aperitif and is one of the only wines that go well with white asparagus. Very pale, almost white in colour. "Grapey" on the nose, with hints of ripe melon. This is a simple wine, palate is fruity but surprisingly dry and slightly savoury. Short finish. JT described it as an everyday drinking wine, "drinking like milk... but better than milk of course".
