Ruby/tawny in color with dried cherry and caramel on the nose, loads of dark dried fruits on mid-palate, finishes a little hot with more berry fruits, fig, fruitcake and even some tropical fruit flavors

Drunk over 3 days from D+4. Pretty consistent throughout - dark with a slight hint of orange - elegant legs - a lot of heat in the nose, hiding violets and blackberries - succulent in the mouth - balance of fruits, a little jam, decent acid, hints of tannin - hits the stomach with a lot of heat, after which the finish lingers nicely for quite a while. Many years in this yet, but right now it's a fine young (but not childish) port.

Lovely. Fresh, but not too young.

Still very youthful and bright ruby, lovely ripeness and silky structure, deliciously sweet and inviting - really excellent and still bags of life

Clean as a whistle. Medium weight. Fresh nose of Kirsch. Palate equally lithe. Just delightful.
