PnP. Color is a mixture of red, purple, and maroon hues. Raisins, wood, and heat from the OH. The same on the palate. Much better than previous bottles.

Best bottle in a while. Still not reminiscent of the first bottle we had 11yrs ago in Rome, but not terrible. Dark purple color, almost black. Lots of CDP elements. Highly tannic and a rough finish. Give this ample air and drink soon. Not a wine for aging.

Perfectly balanced between strong tannins and medium acidity. Cherries, wood, plum, nutty notes. Strong finish. Would have benefited from a few more years. Will buy again, great QP!

Drank over three days. Drinking beautifully right now, but not yet at peak. Oak is in the process of fully integrating. Medium plus acid, significant tannin for Barbera, lively, vibrant and long. The wine drank best on the second and third days. Excellent QPR, even at retail, and I found this bottle for $10!

Liked this very much. Can't remember specifics at all, unfortunately, but remember great & unusual flavors. Will try again for a tasting note.
