This was opened last Friday and tasted somewhat inattentively, then I became ill, and today (Tuesday) I had the last glass. It was bordering on the heavy and clumsy on Friday, but the glass I had today was magic (because I was recovering from illness?), and weird: very sweet for a dry wine and especially lacking in acidity, there was also a little oxydation after four days' opening, and a clear feeling of too much of a good thing. Yet how not like it? All of it seemed tasty and wonderful, and while you wouldn't want to live in a baroque palace with no right angles or plain surfaces anywhere, staying for a night might be a lot of fun.

Drunk over two hours, Zalto universal. Very rich with relatively little acidity; residual sugar is probably in the high side, or maybe acidity on the low. Rich and intese, with mineral and licorice, all too easy to drink (at 13.5 % ABV).

Excellent wine drinking well. Pear, lemon, flowers, minerality, great acidity and some aged nuttiness. Delicious with the smoked whitefish and on its own.

Drunk over an hour. At first, very rich and even clumsy, but took on its great rich, balanced, complex shape very fast. The botrytis and the spontaneous fermentation combine to create licorice-like aromas. Fairly sweet (and for this reason great with vegetables) for a Roth Lay. The aromatics in the empty glass are world class: intense, beautiful, persistent.
