Medium berry nose. Chewy dry dark berry entry. Not much finish. Entry lingers on mid-palate. Peppery & spicy wine. Sharp edges on opening rounded out to soft & welcoming mouth feel after about an hour. Did not decant; just poured into large red wine glasses, and let sit for 60 min., for initial tasting. Wish we had more than 1 bottle!

Popped and poured with dinner. Nice red fruit/plum and a little spice on the palate. Enjoyable.

Great fruit - label spot on when it says creamy fruit. Demands food and even then we found this way too sour.

Wonderful fruit. The label description is spot on except that it's a bit too sour. Apparently 2011 wines are a bit acidic.

Only took a quick sip before we made sangria from it. Tasted on point for a solid caignane, and made for a tasty red sangria.
