  Very dark, a little bit cloudy, deep maroon color, brick red through the light as it pours. Redolent of ripe sweet blackberries. I also get plum and maybe cherry wood. Tannins are present but rounded out nicely, opening up even more after air time.
  
  I think this is drinking brilliantly right now and probably won't benefit from more bottle age. Threw some very fine sediment so may benefit from filtration.

  Duft av modne kirsebær, kaffe og litt sviske. Fyldig i munnen, med mye tørrstoffer. Flott vin i sin stil men tror ikke dette blir bedre.

  Opaque, ruby color; initially, a bit of VA on the nose but not noticeable after several minutes in the glass, revealing floral, black cherry and spice notes; dark red fruit, spice and some earth on the palate; nice acidity; dry, smooth tannins on a long finish. There was sediment at the bottom of the bottle.
  Chose this wine to pair with pasta Puttanesca and was pleased.

  Scented with raspberry, leather and licorice, big wine with good body and depth, dry and complex, flavor profile of dried cherries, herbs, tobacco smoke and anise, long finish, well made, entering a long drinking window, nice with stew
