Cork pulled intact (did not crumble), this is not my common experience with these older Chalk Hill vintages. Honey melon, vanilla\oak on the nose. Big and fruitful on opening with a full mouth feel. Some subtle citrus with more minerallity on day two and three. Held up well three days in the bottle. This is a very good chardonnay that cellared very well over the past decade.

A heavy touch of oak that was expected from this winery but it was not over powering. The butter flavor was excellent with a touch of butterscotch and candied red apple.

School social. Call it out for what it is, this is the most OAK-LADEN chardonnay I have tasted in years. Evolved nose of pineapple, pear, vanilla and buttered popcorn belies flavors so overrun by oak that I am reaching for water to ease the burn after one glass.

Holding up very well for a 7 year old chardonnay. Deep gold typical of an aged chard, vanilla and pear with a little melon on the finish. Very rounded, but starting to fade a little since the last bottle I had.
