  • Surprisingly, this wine was not bad. It was absolutely well past its prime at 11 years of age, but it was stored well and thus perfectly drinkable. No signs of oxidation. Classic hints of grass and herb on the nose, though substantially muted due to the wine's age. On the palate it was cool and refreshing with a fairly long finish. Not much fruit left, but it was smooth and easy to drink. I'm sure it would've been great in its prime.
