Unlike any Riesling I've tasted - but then again I've never tasted a Kabinet Troken. When I opened the bottle bubbles came to the surface. This spritz continued through the early tasting. It was very dry, almost austere, rather high in acids - not at all like the heavily fruited California Rieslings (even the dry ones). Nevertheless, I enjoyed the crisp accurate Riesling rendering.
