Fresh ripe dark berry fruit up front, bit of graphite/lead pencil (which I like), Low tannin, low-medium acid. Hint of vanilla (new oak?) A pleasing and easy-to-like glass. This is the second bottle of this I've had in 2 years and the 10s' do not disappoint.

This wine has a bad stroke of volatile acidity. A hard spin in the glass, and it whafts dill pickle and little else. Similar to other bottles I've had. Expensive disappointment.

Willamette Valley for Memorial day weekend and a peak at 2012; 5/25/2013-5/26/2013: Very soft aromas, nicely textured with pleasing fruit. Voluptuous body on the palate, with nice balance of fruit and gritty tannins. Very pure expression of fruit, though overall pretty mild. Nice texture left on the palate after swallowing, and luscious fruit. Definitely more of a drink now style, and I even liked this more last year.

Cellared on release. Same as the last notes. Hot and fizzy, with strong V.A. Got worse the second day.
