A nice, cool weather Gamay. The wine looks rosy colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like strawberry, red currant and rose. Just a nice, light Gamay respresentative of its terroir.
transparent ruby. fragrant flowers and ripe fruit, cherries and strawberries. light-bodied in the mouth, soft tannins, medium intensity. simple but well done.

Just extremely balanced, high-toned, Apline Gamay, but with real concentration, a rusty-yet-fresh (?) saline quality, and face-planting-into-a-blossming-orchard florailty. A touch of sulfur at first tweaks the nose, but that blows off, and you're left with this luscious little high-altitude, cold-climate, sage-and-raspberry gem. No rush to drink it, either. No harm in waiting a couple years. I still have some '08 in the cellar.

Light color. Strong hydrogen sulfide but then some faded red fruit. Sappy but frankly alcoholic and disjointed. Not at a good point right now.
