Opened 30 mins before drinking. Pretty tight initially. Light straw colour. Opened up over the next hour. Citrus and ripe stone fruit on the nose. Citrus dominated initially on the palate, developed cashew and buttery notes as it opened in the glass. Cut of acid of the finish, medium length. Very young but well balanced, should have decanted.

(Langton's Tasting, May 2013) Soft, gentle waft of white flowers, with crisp peach on the nose. Similarly gentle and easy elegance on tasting, with oily silky satin, soft flowers and baby powder, with a precise, clean finish ending with bits of citrus.

The Cassagne-Montrachet got better over the first hour. Definitely best to let the wine open for an hour before drinking. Very well balanced.

Langton's Cellar Club May 2013 (Roof Terrace Australian Museum): medium minus intensity aromas of sandalwood, citrus and stone fruit. The wine is savoury and rich with slight butter nores subtle stone fruit, balanced and very long. Very good
