PNP into Zalto Burgundy glass (“Fruit” day): Medium, bright orange copper to the eyes.
Some reduction upfront. Unique combination of mature yellow fruits and preserved stone fruits and mandarins. Some hints of rusticity and tobacco leaves which adds to the complexity. Awesome nose.
Slightly dryingly tannic but ripe and flavourful on palate. Great deal of acidity, not too much minerality. Good length.
92 points to me.

At Terroirs wine bar (Covent Garden, London). Bright orange. Nose of fruit and acidity ('like cider'). Dry, dusty tannins on the palate, very grippy almost like a chilled Sangiovese. Unusual and interesting.

3e Salon du vin en tête (Le 104, Paris, France): Macération poussée pour cette cuvée tannique (!) et puissante, on imagine des accords avec fromages à pâte persillée, du saumon, du haddock et de l'anguille. Une découverte pour moi.

Same style and "lineage" as on the Dinavolino and Catavela wines but the concentration and tanginess on this wine blow you away. While the other wines certainly the 2011 Catavela fit better with aperitif drinking this will probably go better with food.
