Cote Roties with Shane Finley (The Bristol, Chicago IL): nose: this was given some air, but it was a bit shy at first and as it unwound it revealed gorgeous tones of red fruits, spice tones, black pepper, bacon fat and a good dose of black cherry. Excellent depth with a real style to it
taste: Full bodied with real good supporting tannins and medium acidity. Balanced with real nice depth and tones of smoke, bacon fat, black fruits, black pepper and some bits of white pepper
overall: This still has a long way to go. Well balanced with a slight bit of browning at the rim, this comes off as drinking but on the young side. This has room for improvement and has the ability to really be special
