  • Friday, May 04, 2001 Thin ruby color, clean and clear. Pleasant violet, floral scents, but also vegetal as well as tart cherries. Thin on the mouth, with a light mouthfeel. No glycerol weight; no heft. More of a Beaujolais style which was somewhat disappointing. Pleasant enough but with a stemmy finish. With beef kabobs (London broil marinated in rosemary.) 5/4/01.
