  • This was popped at a dinner party and I was able to sneak in 2 glasses. I gotta say, it was delicious. It was decanted and served with steak. The decant was performed due to a little cork disintegration on popping, so it was not tasted prior to the decant. I've had Keenan wines before, but none this old, and they're more of an old school Napa style, i.e. restrained rather than bombastic. This wine was in that mould. The tannins were smooth, that lovely Spring Mtn fruit was still there + some tobacco and herbs. I don't know when this wine started to peak, but in my view it's not declining. Having said that, if I owned it, I'd be drinking it.
