This was a Port style wine. It was super light red, almost see-through. Looked more like a light Pinot.N: Slightly Maderized, could smell the added alcohol. Dark Fruit and plum.P: Light, sweet, very soft, candied cherry and raspberry. Completely different from any Port I’ve had.F: Milk chocolate, sweet red fruit, slightly austere.

Jersey Girls Road Trip - A Story by the Chauffeur; 4/27/2012-5/2/2012 (Solvang, CA): Not much Mission varietal wines in the valley and interestingly this vintage is a change in vineyard, now Barberena. Carmel colored, sweet strawberry and glycerin mouthfeel. Not heat detected, impressive. Nice dessert wine.
