Funky fig with wafts of vanillin oak on the nose are appealing, the palate exudes the same richness as the nose with lees derived buttery characters making their mark.
The wine has an undeniably full mouthfeel but needs a touch more acidity to balance the rich characters. Review Link - www.winereviewer.com.au (drink from 2012-2014)

This is a very good, buttery old style chardy. Wood characteristics without being over the top
