  Les Boudots is a 1 Cru neighbour to les Malconsorts on the boarder to Vosne Romanee. Very fresh - on the acidity with rather shy fruits - red fruits - red cherries, raspberries, Nuits St. George never was my preferred appellation, but this is a perfekt bridge between the open flowerish cote de nuit and the more closed cassis type cote de beaune. I drunk it with fresh cheese and herbes and a salty tete de moine. I think this wine at this period asks for salt, maybe a little fat as well - but mainly salt. I think it will go for a while. Because of his acidity, not of his body because it is rather skinny.
  I think for the price you get a beautiful burgundy from a announced winemaker. Check it out when you can.

  We drank the wine over three days, and it really showed it´s full potential on day three. Quite floral, strawberry, nicely balanced, soft tannins, long. Still very young, I guess patience will be rewarded
