Aroma: Sweet stew fruit, hint of mint. Subtle earthy. Fig. M acidity, low tannin, rounded taste but not too fat. Mature stone fruit and herb taste. A bit of alcohol feel. The body is lacking of tannin, which is not my preference.

Dark core with garnet rim; brick dust, leather, raspberry, almost fig; slight raspberry on the palate, tart, roasted and ripe note, fig, pomegranate; ok.

A decent Côtes du Rhône Villages with a tremendous amount of wet hay and old stable on the nose. Palate reveals the classical dark fruits paired with harsh tannins and a rather expressive acidity. Oak is very visible and not integrated. Though slightly one-dimensional, it is still a nice wine. Will benefit from a couple of years in the cellar. (score is 89+)

Raspberry and a bit veggie. I like this. This is a pretty good Cotes du Rhone Village
