  Brought this to my sister-in-law's place for Christmas gathering.
  
  Pale straw in colour. Fizzy, with notes of toast, oats, yeast and breadcrumbs. The effervescence runs out after a while, but the flavour of the wine lingers on.
  
  Overall this is a light and easy to drink wine on a Sunday afternoon.

  Opened a bottle and drank it with my spouse during my elder son's birthday celebration at home on a Sunday afternoon.
  
  Fizzy, with notes of crackers and toast. Some nuts and almonds towards the end. Soft, sensuous and very easy to drink.
  
  This wine is on promotion right now and given the price point, this wine is a steal.

  Brought this to Pietro Ristorante Italiano to celebrate two birthdays but only one birthday boy turned up.
  
  Pale straw in colour with a continuous fizz. A basic sparkling brut with notes of biscuit, toast, nuts and cream. Went well with the calamari, deep fried chicken wings, mushrooms and clams.

  Brought this to Tungluk Xihe to drink with my buddies from National Service days.
  
  Pale gold in colour with an ongoing effervescence with small bubbles. Notes of toast, yeast and some tropical fruits were evident. Short and dry finish.
  
  A very good bargain for this quality at this price.

  This is a pretty good sparkling wine. The riesling adds its fragrance, which might disconcert some, but the acidity is high, fruit moderate, and it's otherwise fine. Chardonnay/riesling/chenin blanc blend. [Cork + cage; 12% abv; B&M Stores, £5.99]
