Agree with the Vinous reviews -- this is an interesting and complex syrah that is singing right now. Dark fruited and with nice complexity. One hour decant helped to soften and develop more flavors. Silky for a syrah

Popped and poured. This is a purple-red wine with some significant sediment — I would recommend decanting. This is initially very grapey. It is almost overripe. This aspect ratchets down over time, and I get some other notes of smoke and plum. But still very ripe. I fear I waited too long to drink this. Not sure what to recommend generally other than to decant, give some air, and hope the ripeness mellows. 86 points.

Not much change from my note almost a year ago. Hard candy fruit tones, spice, herbs. Young. Odd nose with a bit of a raisin note, but that doesn't transfer to the palate. Will hold my final bottle for several more years. I still think these will be phenomenal as an older wine. 92 ish now. Room to improve.
