  Closed nose that eventually reveals sour cherry bubblegum, and then you smell nothing but sour cherry bubblegum. Very tannic, acidic and earthy. Some decent cherry and cranberry fruit underneath. Long, playful finish, but age has not made this elegant. If the fruit were more defined, I'd say it still needs time to really find itself.
