Confused over reviews saying this is not worth the money. I paid $20 and at that price thought it a great value. Nothing offensive about nose or taste. Lighter body, but pleasant to drink. Doesn't compare to the 1st growth Volnay I opened at Thanksgiving, but then that wine cost more than twice the price, and also was a great value.

There are cherries, vanilla and hints of cinnamon on the nose
The pallet opened up after 40 minutes and evolved nicely over a couple of hours. Strawberries and cherries initially, adding in black fruit as the wine breathed
A short finish of black spice.
All and all an enjoyable bottle that was worth the money.

This is not a very exciting wine. While pleasant in the mouth, there is very little to distinguish this wine from other Carneros Pinot at a better price point. Similar to prior tasting note.

A light ruby color, with a bit of cinnamon on the otherwise limited nose. On the palate there is a bit of white pepper, cranberry, and strawberry. The acidity is crisp, and the tannins very subdued. The finish is over quickly.

I decanted but probably did not need to.

On the dry side, not much going for it.
