A lot of positive reviews here with consistent notes, and my bottle was no exception. Smooth and creamy with all the yeasty goodness I want, yet it never tastes heavy or awkward like many others in this price class. I feel inclined to buy more. 5+11+16+8= 90

Date code on back says: 22/10/17. Since this was just purchased, I'm guessing this means disgorged Oct 17, 2022??
Toasty nose with toasted brioche and membrillo. Frothy, the palate has loads of toasted brioche, roasted walnut and membrillo as well as oyster shell salinity. Rich, this is a style I really prefer. 91

Slightly bruised apples on the palate giving way to some citrus-y crisp acidity and a touch of brioche and croissant. There’s a subtle spiciness going on as well. It’s a solid Champagne with no wrong notes but also isn’t one you’ll need to come back to over and over for repeated discovery.

A promising slightly leesy nose opens with a symphony of complex aromas including lemon zest, olive oil, Emmental cheese, nutmeg, almond, jasmine, and kiwi. The palate continues to impress, with a zingy citrus backbone braced by more kiwi, fresh pineapple, a bit of smoke, some chalk and flint, hazelnut, and capers. There is a lot going on with this Champer, with an inherent complexity that is somewhat reticent at first, but which benefits from a little focus. It all wraps up with crisp lemon zest on the crescendo and some not unpleasant astringency on the steely finish. (Very good QPR, which is reflected in review score.)
