Loved this - not your typical SB except in weight - had a apple, lemony fruit with a slightly bitter almond edge which was great as an apertif. Really nice mouthfeel, slightly creamy but with a bracing long finish.

Interesting expression of sauv blanc from Italy, and enjoyable. Not a great value at $14.99, but refreshing; a distinctly less grassy and less cat pee sauv than NZ and Sancerre, respectively... Nicely done.

7 days in Italy.; 6/16/2012-6/22/2012 (Italy): 3 vineyards. First vintage was in 1992. Stays on it's fine lees for 3 or 4 months. Bottled one month ago. Grown in areas where grapes were not traditionally grown in the area. 16,000 bottles. Very mineral focus on the palate. Chalky texture, but stays from being too creamy. Very limestone on the palate. A frosty bite, dry crisp and mineral refreshment.
